Archie Beresford - Hereford This great image comes to us courtesy of DS Photos. Archie Beresford in action making a penalty save which won his team the cup. After a closely contested final which went to extra time, the only way the match could be decided was on penalties... and this was the last penalty of the match, you couldnt have written the script any better and what a save to be captured on film - sign that cameraman up to Sky TV and get the pic to Capello!! |

Joe Wansley - Gloucester The things our keepers will do to get a trial! While on holiday in Portugal, Joe and his family came across the Benfica team and Joe wasted no time in holding up the team coach and got himself into the 'Set' position to impress the manager. Nice work Joe! It clearly paid off as the team were delighted to be given the opportunity to meet out english keeper... need an agent Joe?!! |

Harry Burgoyne who trained with us at Ludlow and Ledbury is enjoying considerable success at Wolverhampton Wanderers. 14 year old Harry is in his second season at Wolves and recently went on tour to Hungary to compete in the Hungary International tournament, Harry (pictured in centre) played in the under 15's and came back with glowing performance reports. Since returning, he has succesfully been chosen to represent Shropshire County as first choice keeper.. well done Harry! |

One of our first goalkeepers recently represented England as a sighted goalkeeper in the World Cup for the Blind. Lewis Skyers (pictured 3rd from the right, back row) was called up to represent his country at the tournament and as part of the build up enjoyed trips to the England training camp and met the full England squad before an international fixture at Wembley. great work Lewis, hopefully we can look forward to more international keepers from our development centre! |

Brad Poole has been signed by Cheltenham Town and awarded a scholarship with the club. We are all proud of Brad's progress. Brad follows other signings from our development centre to Cheltenham of Zeke Vivien and Jacob Price. Keep up the good work boys!

Kidderminster Lions keeper Joshua Meadows can't get enough of goalkeeping and his efforts are being very well rewarded! Josh is the youngest member of the Worcester goalkeepers and his hard work on the training ground earned him the Man of the Match trophy by his team. Josh then followed up his 5 star performance the following week and would have received the award again but for a technicality which did not allow a player to win twice on the trot! |

Mac Sadler has been busy dazzling his opponents and team mates with some truly splendid performances over the season and rightfully was rewarded with Player of the Season as well as getting further recognition together with a newspaper editorial stating his team believe they have the best keeper of his age group in the county! Mac has also been training with West Bromwich Albion development centre and is deffinately a keeper to watch for the future... Great season Mac! |

Popular Gloucester centre keeper Joey has continued his meteoric rise in confidence to win another award for the season! Besides attending our Gloucester development centre, Joey has spent time at West Bromwich Albion development centre and his enthusiasm for goalkeeping has certainly helped to get him noticed! With his effective shot stopping ability, we reckon he will bag another trophy over the summer tournaments! |

Our very own Tom Helps grabbed the opportunity to play at Arsenal's Emirates stadium and emulate his Gunner hero! To be honest, having looked at the 8 photos Tom sent through, every shot is a save so Mr Almunia could probably do with taking some tips! Tom played in a competition on the day and the experience to play on a bowling green of a pitch must have been fantastic. |
